Corrections

We verify before we publish, but we can still get things wrong. If you find a mistake in one of our stories, we want to know.
From your report to the correction
  1. Your report
  2. Back to sources
  3. The correction
  4. A visible note

How to report an error

  • Write to the editorial department.
  • Identify the story: its link or title, and the platform where you saw it.
  • Describe the error: what was said, and what you believe is correct.
  • And include a source that shows the correct information, if you have one.

What we do

  • We go back to our sources and check what was said.
  • If the error is confirmed, we correct it wherever we can.
  • And we note that the story was corrected, and what changed.
  • If it is not confirmed, we explain the source we relied on.

This draft sets no deadlines for replies or corrections; they will be set when the policy is adopted.

Editorial

The editorial department is the right place for any comment on a story we published.
